Previously distributed across several service departments within the company, these experts will now be united within a single team. The decision to create the Engineering Department resulted from an internal analysis of organizational needs and the growing expectations of clients in the sector. According to Olivier, the integration of the Structure and Building team with the Engineering team occurred naturally.

Can-Explore, which already offered flow measurement services for wastewater conduits, is now expanding its offerings with the assessment of projected wastewater flow. This service will enable municipalities to better anticipate future needs, a major advantage in the current housing crisis where new construction is essential. With this expertise, Can-Explore aims to become a key player in facilitating urban development while ensuring the sustainability of underground infrastructure.

Building permits may be suspended until the municipality can verify that its infrastructure network can support the increased demand, highlighting the utility of the projected flow assessment service.
